The E-Series N54 and N55 engines have a worrying oil cooling problem, with high oil temperatures often indicated on the dashboard, making it difficult for drivers to drive to their heart's content.
For this reason BEVINSEE has custom-designed a proprietary oil cooling adapter that allows bimmers to drive with confidence.

Good improvement

I bought this about a month ago. Living in Florida, my oil temps usually sit near mid-gauge, but after installing this, they've dropped to about a quarter. Installation is simple and I highly recommend it, especially for hot climates. Since it functions with a temperature-controlled valve, not just a simple diverter to the cooler, even in colder regions you don't have to worry about oil failing to reach operating temperature.

Besides enhancing engine bay aesthetics, it helps maintain lower oil temps and the install takes about 25 minutes.

Fits on my 135i 2010

I'm based in Nevada, and my oil temps usually sit around 240C245F during summer cruising, which is normal for an N55. But under hard driving or canyon runs, temps spike to 260C270F, even at night. After installing the thermostat, oil temps dropped noticeably. Even in 115F+ weather, cruising stays near 220F, and under spirited driving it peaks around 230F. Thats a major improvement and adds peace of mind. If you want to safeguard your engine and extend oil service life, especially in hot climates, this upgrade is absolutely worth it.

Great replacement

The thermostat's CNC machining quality is excellent. The finish is precise. Installation is straightforward, and the adapter plate integrates seamlessly with the OEM oil cooler and lines. The stock unit (shown) has no thermostat, only a spring-loaded bypass valve, which can cause overheating. This upgrade fully resolves the thermal issue.
