Is a billet oil breather cap worth upgrading from the factory plastic cap?
Yes. If your factory plastic oil cap is aging, cracked, or no longer sealing properly, upgrading to a billet aluminum oil breather cap is a worthwhile investment.

Do I have to use the 10 ORB/AN fitting?
No. Using the 10 ORB/AN fitting is optional. The package includes the fitting so the oil cap can be integrated with a compatible breather or catch can system.
If your engine already has a breather or catch can setup, or you plan to install one, you can use the included fitting. Otherwise, the cap can simply be installed and used as a standard oil fill cap.

Will a billet oil cap stop oil leaks around the filler cap?
A billet oil cap can help prevent oil seepage caused by a worn, damaged, or poorly sealing factory cap, provided the leak is coming from the cap itself or its sealing O-ring.
Its precision-machined construction and high-quality sealing design can provide a more consistent fit than an aging plastic cap. However, if the oil is leaking from the valve cover gasket or another engine seal, replacing the oil cap alone will not resolve the issue.
Before replacing parts, inspect the filler cap, O-ring, valve cover, and surrounding area to confirm the actual source of the leak.
