Start with the most worn areas, typically the front control arm, rear trailing arm, and rear subframe bushings. Bevinsee polyurethane E36 bushings are a good choice for street and performance builds, offering tighter suspension response without going fully solid. Solid or monoball upgrades are better suited to aggressive street, drift, or track setups.

Polyurethane bushings may add slightly more road feedback than factory rubber, but they can still work well on a daily-driven E36. Solid or monoball bushings transmit more noise and vibration and are generally better for performance-focused builds.

It depends on how you use your E36. OEM-style rubber prioritizes comfort, while polyurethane offers a good balance of durability, response, and daily drivability. While our Bevinsee monoball RTAB upgrades minimize unwanted rear suspension movement and provide more precise response.

Not every E36 requires reinforcement plates, but the RTAB mounting area should always be inspected for cracks or damage. Bevinsee adjustable rear trailing arm brackets are useful when additional suspension adjustment is needed, particularly on lowered or performance-oriented E36s. A four-wheel alignment is recommended after installing RTABs or adjustable brackets.
