The All New 2025 Toyota 4Runner

The new-gen Toyota 4Runner made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show. Its built on Toyotas TNGA-F platform and goes for around RMB. At the 2025 Detroit Auto Show, the new 4Runner was also revealed, starting at $40,770, with the top-shelf TRD Pro i-Force Max version priced at $66,900.

Lets talk about the appearance. The front face is very layered, with hollow trim inside the grille and large-size L-shaped daytime running lights added to the headlight group.

On the side of the car, the front and rear wheel eyebrows are designed to be expanded, and a wading hose is added to one side. When it comes to smart driving aids, the new ride comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. That means you get adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision system that watches for pedestrians, lane departure alerts, and a bunch of other handy features.

Under the hood, the new car is equipped with a 2.4T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 282 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm; the 2.4T hybrid version has a system comprehensive maximum power of 331 horsepower and a maximum torque of 630 Nm, and the transmission is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In terms of off-road capability, the model is equipped with an LSD limited slip differential, a central differential lock, etc., with a maximum traction capacity of about 2722 kg.
