The new-gen Toyota 4Runner made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show. It’s built on Toyota’s TNGA-F platform and goes for around RMB. At the 2025 Detroit Auto Show, the new 4Runner was also revealed, starting at $40,770, with the top-shelf TRD Pro i-Force Max version priced at $66,900.

When it comes to smart driving aids, the new ride comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. That means you get adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision system that watches for pedestrians, lane departure alerts, and a bunch of other handy features.
Under the hood, the new car is equipped with a 2.4T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 282 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm; the 2.4T hybrid version has a system comprehensive maximum power of 331 horsepower and a maximum torque of 630 Nm, and the transmission is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In terms of off-road capability, the model is equipped with an LSD limited slip differential, a central differential lock, etc., with a maximum traction capacity of about 2722 kg.
